Working with Southwestern is one of the most fulfilling experiences I've had. I first heard of Southwestern Advantage from a friend when I was actively searching for internships. I interviewed and was offered a spot on the team. The challenging part for me was keeping my attitude in check when dealing with rejection. As a wrestler, the hard work and competitive parts were actually a lot of fun for me. The friendships and travel have been a big added bonus.
Tough to get things rolling in a new community each year. Just requires a lot of patience!
Thank you for the daily coaching -- it was super helpful!
Sounds like a cliche to say the group is like family but there is not a better way to describe it
