What did you like best about your internship/co-op? What type of work were you doing?

I loved this job. Yeah, it was door to door sales, but that is were all of the successful people start. The skills and the growth that I experienced are something I was looking for and couldn't find anywhere else. It truly feels like "success bootcamp" during the summer, and the people within the company are so amazing. I loved the challenge and the skills that I developed I know that I will be able to use anywhere, because I already have. This internship helped me to develop my emotional intelligence and to learn a lot about the "real world", which is so valuable for young college students. Selling educational resources for families was extremely rewarding as well because we got the chance to help people gain access to tools that they cannot get anywhere else, and there is truly so many opportunities every day to make an impact.

What did you like least about your internship/co-op?

I didn't like the fact that I had to leave home and work hard instead of being with my friends, which is also exactly why I did it. Leaving your comfort zone is not always the easiest thing in the world, especially when taking a risk. However, this is what makes this experience so impactful on the students that do it and finish the summer.

All the time

Strong mentorship instead of "boss" feeling
Feedback to management about the internship/co-op program:

They do an amazing job at training management thoroughly and preparing them to be leaders. I always felt like I truly mattered and that they cared about my goals just as much as I did.

Social experience

To what degree did the team make you feel welcome, included and valued?
Like family
How often were there opportunities to participate in social activities with your colleagues?
All the time
Describe the office environment/culture.

Door to door! Always seeing new things! The culture is very powerful. Because of how challenging the experience was, it really helped people grow together. Not only this, but due to the fact that it was so challenging, it also attracted positive and motivated people, and they say that you are the average people you spend the most time with. People are constantly trying to grow and develop not only themselves, but everyone around them.
