What did you like best about your internship/co-op? What type of work were you doing?

I was free to shape the project however I wanted. Supervisor was generally open to all ideas, but did not provide feedback or thoughts about topics. I was able to shadow team members and learn about their roles.

What did you like least about your internship/co-op?

Many team members were unwilling to help. Several people did not take me serious being an intern.

Manager experience

Did your manager(s) provide you with support and coaching to be effective in your role?
Rarely
Did you receive clear and actionable feedback from your manager(s) during your work term?
Never
I continuously asked for feedback. When it was given , it was vague and unhelpful.
Did you feel comfortable asking your manager(s) questions, when needed?
Occasionally
Feedback to management about the internship/co-op program:

Management should not fear giving feedback. Deliverables should be clear. Project was completed, but during the last week supervisors wanted several papers and graphics (outside of final presentation). Had to rush to complete before end of summer.
