I liked the freedom that John Hancock provided me with my work. it allowed me to accomplish and learn at the same time. I was getting a lot fo excel work to do mostly, which is great learning experience for office jobs down the line.
As the internship went on, I found my work repetitive
Fantastic manager, friendliest guy I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Helped guide me throughout the company and industry, teaching at every opportunity.
The culture is a lot older than myself and I did not find the opportunity to make friends. I was friendly with a few coworkers I see through out my day, but that is as far as my social interactions went.
When working for John Hancock, your work and experience varies greatly from team to team. Each one is very different and can be good fits for different people. Be ready for a pretty anti-social work environment, but that is standard of any corporate office job.
